 Chrissy

Hi! I’m Chrissy. I’ve been a strength coach for 8 years. I started my strength and fitness career in a commercial gym where I learned how different bodies move, and how to approach that for the individual client. After building my experience with lots of different people, I realised my passion was for helping women build strength and athleticism, particularly those who had minimal experience with weight training. It was extremely satisfying to see the women I coached exceed their own expectation of their strength. This is still my passion today. I love guiding women who like exercising, and who are disciplined, but need structure and organisation with their training.

My daughter Summer was born in April 2022, and whilst I was pregnant I recognised how important it was to have guidance on training through pregnancy and into the postpartum chapter. I completed my Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism course in Jan 2022 and have worked with many pregnant women since. All pregnancies are different, but having the experience personally, as well as now living with and taking care of a baby, and managing work and training outside of that, really helps me relate to my pregnant and postpartum clients. I strive to create a support network for my pregnant and mama clients - their partner, myself, and a good women's health physio.

My goal with Strength Series is to help you make strength permanent through transitory stages of your life.

Constance AKA Dous

Hey! I'm Constance, but you can call me Dous and I am the second coach here at Strength Series.

I began my own training journey back in 2016 when my main focus, much like a lot of you, was weight loss, yoyo dieting and instagram workouts. It wasn't until I hired my first coach that my focus shifted and I started putting my efforts into what my body could do for me, it was one of the most empowering changes I have ever made. This led me to the world of powerlifting when you’ll find me now, with 11 comps under my belt, a couple being at a national level.

I found my passion in this part of the fitness industry and this was what led me to complete my certificate 3 and 4 in personal training in 2018, all I wanted to do was help other women feel empowered and capable.

My main goal for all the women that I work with is to help them create a healthy, long lasting and positive relationship with their body and the type of exercise they choose to take part in.

I can't wait to support you along this journey and watch you turn into a weapon both in and out of the gym!
